Dale Matthews  Sensei has been a student of the martial arts and ways since 1962 and an Aikidoka since April of 1975.  A student of Saotome Mitsugi Shihan since May 1975 he now makes his home in Shelby County Kentucky.

In addition to regularly scheduled classes at Louisville Aikikai ,  Matthews Sensei, an Aikido Schools of Ueshiba Godan, is once again available to instruct small groups and seminars.  Over the last 30 years Matthews Sensei has been instrumental in founding  Louisville Aikikai, the Aikido clubs at the University of Louisville, the University of Kentucky, Indiana University at Bloomington and Purdue University.

The way is in  training.  The goal is to be as strong as the predators while choosing to not be one.
